In-Person Appointments
An acupuncture session typically begins with a consultation, during which the practitioner will ask about your health history and any current symptoms you may be experiencing. After the consultation, the practitioner will insert thin needles into specific points on your body. The needles are left in place for around 20-30 minutes, while you relax. At the end, the practitioner may perform manual body work and may prescribe herbal formulas or supplements.

Telehealth Appointments
A telehealth acupuncture session is a virtual consultation with a licensed acupuncturist. During the session, the practitioner will ask about your medical history and symptoms and may prescribe herbs and supplements to support your health goals. The practitioner may also guide you on manual techniques that do not require needles or special tools. While the session does not involve physical acupuncture, the practitioner can still provide personalized care and guidance to help you achieve optimal health.

How do I know which session is right for me?

We highly recommend scheduling a Telehealth session before coming in for your first in-person session. This will allow you to see if Moshe's treatments are the right fit for you and will allow Moshe to prepare for your first session.
Every patient is unique so if you have questions about your specific case please don't hesitate to contact us at 212-753-2442.

Who is considered a new patient? You are considered a new patient if you have never been to our practice before. You are also considered a new patient if more than a year has passed since your last session. After one year, you will be considered a new patient so that Moshe can get up to date with your recent history and implement the best course of treatment.

Custom Herbal Formulas

During your visit, if you receive a custom herbal prescription, our staff will prepare your unique blend on-site. We use only the highest quality Chinese herbs, which are water-extracted to ensure maximum potency and medicinal strength.

While the taste of these herbal blends can be somewhat bitter and unpleasant, this flavor is crucial for preserving their therapeutic properties. In many cases, patients can benefit from herbal formulas alone, potentially reducing the overall cost of treatment.

Please note that custom herbal formulas are available exclusively to existing patients with an active prescription from one of our acupuncturists. For information on pricing, please refer to the details below:

4 oz (10 day supply) - $30
8 oz (3 week supply) - $60
16 oz (2 month supply)- $120
